Maybe I'm conditioned to care less about the leaderboards by coming from PC, where botting was traditionally rampant and the game existed for a good while before the leaderboards were a thing. And the only way it could affect you, realistically, is in the already meaningless global leaderboards. You don't want them to have the items because you believe it's wrong even though it doesn't affect you. Many of the Necromancer builds are very powerful but depend on long Land of the Dead cooldown to deal damage. They have lots of very strong generic multipliers but relatively weak sets. But the handful of people doing this aren't really playing pubs as far as I can tell. Necromancer is the only paid class in Diablo 3. If someone popped into a pub group on opening weekend and tries to open a gr150, I'd probably cancel and look at their gear. Even during that one season where crazy hacked items were all over the place (apparently a rebirth glitch that allowed importing non-seasonal to seasonal?). I've played countless pub games on console and never once had an experience ruined by hackers. Public groups are stay away because of edited save game players ![]()
